Ben & Jerry’s blocked from Supervalu amid Unilever row
Ben & Jerry’s is no longer being stocked in Supervalu amid an ongoing Unilever row.
The international group still not supplying ice-cream favourites such as HB and Ben & Jerry’s to the store due to a dispute over pricing.
Unilever, whose brands include Lyons Tea, Dove, Hellmann’s and Lynx, was also embroiled in a dispute with Tesco which has now been resolved.
However as the row with Musgraves continues, while Unilever are supplying some of its products it is still not shipping ice-cream brands to the Irish group, which also controls the Centra chain.
That means that our favourites such as Magnum, Cornetto and most importantly Ben & Jerry’s are no longer available on shelves in stores across the country.
