The son of Manchester United legend George Best has never been short of confidence but the former model has admitted to feeling low about his premature hair loss, so much so, he has undergone a hair transplant. Calum began losing his hair at the age of 23 and has had 1,200 grafts, amounting to 1,850 individual hairs, moved from the side of his scalp to the front. RSVP thinks he looks great.

After sitting down at the Crown Clinic, in Manchester, for a few hours with surgeon Asim Shahmalak, Calum seemed delighted with the results. He said: ‘I am so pleased I had it done. I was fed up of losing my hair and wanted to look good. ’You only have to see how much better people like Wayne Rooney, James Nesbitt and Gordon Ramsay look after having similar operations.’
Calum seems proud to show off his new hair although it will take between six months to a year for full effect of the transplant to show. He also felt that losing his hair was really affecting him, which is understandable. ‘It really affects your confidence. You find it hard to concentrate fully, because you are worried that they will be noticing your hair.’ RSVP respect Calum’s decision to speak out about his new look.
