Cyclist killed in Cork named as Donal O’Brien

A cyclist who died in a road accident in County Cork earlier today has been named as Donal O’Brien.

Donal, 46, was a resident of Ovens and an avid fan of motorsports, according to Breaking News.

Mr O’Brien was company director of Donal O’Brien’s cars ltd.

He was married and had one daughter.

This weekend has seen two deaths on our roads. A second accident claimed the life of 17 year old Evan Brennan.

Tributes have been paid to Evan Brennan, a promising sports star from Summerhill.

“Evan Brennan (17) died when the car in which he was driving hit a fence in Ballivor in Co Meath.

“Mr Brennan was from Summerhill, Co Meath and was an avid GAA player,” reports Independent.ie.

Our thoughts are with their families at this tough time.
