Fight the flu juice

Next time you’re feeling a little under the weather, hold off on the Lemsip and try this amazing immune boosting smoothie. Citrus fruits are loaded with vitamin C which increases our immune response. Honey and coconut oil have anti-bacterial properties and ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory.

Ingredients

2 x oranges
1 x lime

1 x Tbs of coconut oil
1/2 a lemon
1 x cup of spinach
small sprig of parsley
1 x cup of water

1/2 an inch piece of ginger

2 x Tbs of manuka honey

Blueberries, fruit, diet, healthy, food

Beat the Bloat Juice 

Bloating is often a sign that you’re not digesting food properly. This can lead to constipation which drains energy. This smoothie contains aloe vera and mint to help soothe the gut, pineapple which contains the enzyme bromelain that breaks down protein, ginger to help relieve gas, and spinach which is high in fibre and helps keep you regular you regular!
Ingredients:

2 x Tbs of Aloe Vera Juice

1 x cup of pineapple

1/4 cup of mint

1/2 inch piece of ginger

Juice of a lime

3 cups of baby spinach

1 x Tbs of hemp seeds

1/2 cup of water
