It’s no secret that smokes are no good for us, but sometimes we need a reminder of just how bad they are for us. If you’ve been trying to quit for some time now you may want to read this list. It’ll be sure to make you think long and hard about quitting.

2). 90% of lung cancers are connected to smoking.
90% of lung cancer, a horrible disease, are linked to smoking. By quitting now you can reduce your chances of getting lung cancer significantly. If that’s not enough incentive then we don’t know what will be.
3). A single cigarette contains over 4,800 chemicals
A single cigarette contains over 4,800 chemicals, 69 of which are known to cause cancer. That’s a ridiculous amount of chemicals that you’re inhaling into your body each time you light up. From formaldehyde, used to preserve dead animals; arsenic, used in rat poison; butane, used in lighter fluid; DDT, a banned insecticide; carbon monoxide; hydrogen cyanide; and ammonia,expect to find all of them in one single cigarette.
4) Smoking ages your skin, and turns your hair grey quicker…
A study found that smoking causes your hair to turn grey quicker if you smoke. So if you don’t want to look beyond your years very soon, the giving up the cigarettes is a good way to start. From yellow skin and nails, to premature graying hair, smoking doesn’t do any favours for your looks.
5). It not only makes your breath stink, but could cause your teeth to fall out…
Smokes can give you Periodonitis, which is a disease that causes your breath to stink like decay, gives you swollen gums and makes your teeth fall out. Periodonitis can start happening from when you start smoking, not just when you get older.
And remember, every cigarette you smoke shortens your lifespan by about 11 minutes. If not now, when will you quit?
