IPads Banned from Beyonce’s Croke Park Gig
Beyonce fans be warned, if you bring your iPad to Croke Park this weekend, it’s likely that you’ll be leaving without it!
The Formation world tour arrives in Dublin this weekend, and there’s a particular rule for fans that may cause some hassle.
The singer has explicitly told concert goers that there are no iPad’s allowed on the night.
Although iPhones are OK, security will be very strict on iPads.
Eamon Fox, event organiser with MCD explained:
“There’s no umbrellas, no big cameras, there’s a whole list of stuff but the key one that wouldn’t be normal and it’s on the public information sheet is that there’s no iPad’s.
“Rihanna recently had the same thing, it must be an American thing,” he told I.
“We don’t want anyone coming up and losing an iPad because you won’t be allowed in and there will be no place to put it,” he added.
Fans have been promised a “spectacular show”, with Beyonce expected to take to the stage around 8.15pm.
She’ll be arriving into Dublin this weekend and will be accompanied by her four-year-old daughter with Jay Z, Blue Ivy.
Patrons are advised not to queue overnight, use public transport to get to the venue, with doors opening at 5.30pm.
A limited number of tickets are still on sale.
