Jeremy McConnell Has Reportedly Been Arrested For Assault
According to The Mirror, Jeremy McConnell has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
The Irish model was held by officers are flying back to Liverpool from Ireland to help them with their investigation into an alleged assault on Stephanie Davis.
A spokesperson for the force said in a statement: “Following a report of an assault at an address in Stephenson Grove, Rainhill, a man has this morning (Thursday, 16 March) been arrested.”.
“A 27-year-old man from Liverpool city centre has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after voluntarily attending a police station on Merseyside. He remains in police custody for questioning.”
The incident is said to have happened on Thursday 9th March and was reported to police on Sunday 12 March.
A representative for Jeremy spoke to the Mirror, admitting: “Jeremy denies any wrongdoing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations.”
This comes just weeks after the death of Jeremy’s father, followed by his aunt a couple of days later.
It’s been an extremely tough month for Jeremy, and this isn’t going to make things any easier.
