Rapper Kanye West has overhauled girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s wardrobe and we at RSVP are not too impressed so far!
The lovebirds were spotted strolling around New York City yesterday, with Kim wearing a pair of black leather trousers that had the weirdest shape we’ve ever seen and did nothing to flatter her famous bottom.
Some are wondering if Kanye is too controlling, given that he seems to be on a mission to make his famous girlfriend over.
In a soon-to-be broadcast episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kanye called Kim’s wardrobe “ghetto,” and went through her closets with a stylist, resulting in her donating 100 pairs of designer shoes to charity.
This didn’t impress her sister Khloe, who said,’You gotta have a little ghetto in your life!’
Kanye and his stylist culled Kim’s wardrobe, and she allowed him to decide which items stayed and which were rejected – even when they were things she liked. He brought a rail of replacement clothes with him, and told his seamstress which areas of Kim’s body he wanted to highlight.
‘You’re getting on best dressed lists now,’ he said. ‘You’re stepping into this territory. You look amazing – it’s a new Kim!’
We’ll be interested to see how this works out. They’re already wearing matching outfits and jewellery, which is straying into dodgy territory, so let’s hope Kim manages to retain her own identity!!
