Can I fit 3 baby seats in the back of any bigger car?
This is a really common question as most hatchbacks or saloons are too small to fit three car seats in the back. For this reason, I’d recommend looking at an MPV-style car such as the Volkswagen Touran, Mazda 5 or Toyota Verso. They offer more space in the rear and are specially designed for family use. It’s also worth bringing your car seats with you for a test drive when you are looking at a car for sale to make sure they fit.

Is there a safest option when it comes to picking a family car?
There is no safest option but you can consider a car with a high Euro NCAP safety rating. This means the car meets certain safety standards, and the majority of new cars for sale have a full five-star rating. You could also consider buying a car with extra safety features such as additional interior airbags, electronic driving aids like lane departure warning and braking assist.
Is there a cheap option?
To find a cheap family car you are going to have to go back in the years. A good option is the Toyota Corolla Verso and you can find 2005 examples on Carzone now for as little as €3K.

I need a big car as I have 3 small children, but also a lot of space in boot, what are the best options?
You could choose from two different car styles in this case, an MPV, such as the Ford Galaxy, or an SUV like the Hyundai Santa Fe. Both options will have plenty of space for the kids, and everything that goes with them in the boot! Best of luck with your search.
