Penneys opened its 37th Irish store this morning in Liffey Valley and it's without a doubt, the best one yet.

If you thought that Penneys on Mary Street was a cut above the rest with its beauty bar where you can get your nails and eyebrows done, think again lads.

Doors opened at the new store, which is part of a €26 million investment, at 9.30am this morning and there were crazy scenes outside as masses of people queued to get inside.

The new store has 53 fitting rooms and 53 registers and has taken over three floors with the shop floor fitted out in Penneys new "contemporary" fit.

It even has a cafe, which serves Insomnia coffee and is sure to be a popular addition for shoppers - especially for the men who are following their girlfriends around trying to keep them happy.

And the best thing yet - there are seats and PLUGS where you can charge your phones because we all know that they go dead when we're walking around shopping for the day.

Ladies, we'll see you there tomorrow because we're headed STRAIGHT for it.
