Plane bursts into flames following crash landing
Dozens were feared dead this afternoon after a plane burst into flames after crash landing.
The South Supreme Airliner which landed in South Sudan was carrying 44 passengers at the time.
Initial reports from local news sources suggested that everybody on board had been killed in the crash, however latest reports indicate that at least 14 passengers have been rushed to hospital.
According to the Metro, State Information Minister Bona Gaudensio said:
“Right now we have the ambulance which has just come out from the airport and we have received 14 patients being rushed to hospital in stable condition”
The crash is believed to have happened when the plane came down to land after flying from Juba to Wau.
