Prince William making difficult trip to Paris this week
Prince William is set for a difficult week, as he and Kate Middleton are set to make a historic visit to Paris, ahead of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death this week.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Paris on an official royal tour from March 17th to 18th.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will undertake an official two-day visit to Paris on 17th and 18th March. Their Royal Highness’ visit is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Full details of the visit will be announced in due course, but the itinerary will include a reception for young French leaders from a variety of fields, a formal dinner at the residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador and attendance at the Wales v France Six Nations test at the Stade de France. 📸PA
The trip which comes just months ahead of the 20-year anniversary of William’s mother’s death, will also mark the first time he has visited the city since Diana was killed there.
According to reports, there will be no public visit to the places associated with the last days of William’s mother, Princess Diana. However, it is not known whether William will privately visit the tragic location where his mother was killed.
The couple will not bring their children Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 1.
