Put Away The Sunglasses, Because There’s Nothing But Cloud This Weekend
Well this is a little disappointing to say the least!
The minute it starts to get sunny, the minute it’s time for the beer gardens after work, the minute St. Patricks day is rapidly approaching, the sun decides to feck off for another century while we’re all wrapped up in hats and scarves in the middle of March.
Yeah, and this is bound to be the case this weekend according to Met Eireann.
It will be cloudy this morning with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, occasionally persistent.
Then tomorrow, on St Patrick’s day, the morning will tend to be cloudy and windy with rain developing through much of Connacht and northwest Ulster. In the afternoon the rain will become widespread and heavy across the country and it will continue to persist into evening time.
Saturday and Sunday will be two extremely cloudy and winy days as well with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, persistent in western and northern counties at times but more patchy elsewhere.
And Monday and Tuesday of next week don’t look to be too great either as there will be another drop in temperatures and heavy showers will continue.
