When making the decision to pose topless for Playboy Germany magazine, many women would be worried about what their family members would think, but luckily for Rosanna Davison, her family were behind her all the way.
Speaking to The Irish Sun, Rosanna said:
“My dad was very very supportive. He’s very liberal — he says, ‘It’s a human body, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, as I said myself, ‘It’s a celebration’ and he said, ‘If that’s what you want to do, I will give you my every support.’”
The former Miss World also revealed that her boyfriend Wesley Quirke had helped her to choose the pix, proving that he was secure enough not to mind the German herren ogling his girlfriend’s assets.
“Wes saw the pictures a few months ago as I asked him to help me decide which ones I wanted. I wanted another person’s perspective and he was extremely helpful in viewing the photoshoot objectively. I tend to be really self-critical so he helped me relax a little bit and stopped me from zoning in on every imperfection.”
While Rosanna was described as Chris de Burgh’s daughter on the cover of the magazine – the crooner is very popular in Germany – Rosanna admitted to the Herald that she didn’t know what her dad had actually made of the shoot itself.
“I don’t know… I mean, I’m sure he’s seen them. He was very supportive, but I haven’t sat down with the magazine and asked which are his favourites!”
Probably best to keep it that way Rosanna! That’s one conversation we wouldn’t fancy having with our old man either!
