Cheryl has attended Cannes every year since the beginning of her contract in 2009, which is rumoured to be worth over €550,000.
Also attending as a L’Oreal ambassador was Eva Longoria, who suffered a very embarrassing wardrobe malfunction after she raised her dress to avoid the rain and exposed far too much as she went without underwear.
Eva didn’t seem to mind though as she posed gracefully in a mint gown. Eva also tweeted later that night that she was hanging out with her ‘twin’ Cheryl Cole, they do look very alike.

- Anne Hathaway Shows off Sleek New Style at Star-Studded New York Dinner
Anne Hathaway debuted her new platinum blonde look at the annual Met Ball on Monday night, 6th May. At the Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner last night she rocked it again but this time opted to wear it down in a sleek new style.
The 31-year-old actress arrived for the event at Skylight Studios in New York with her glossy blonde locks styled into a sleek and smooth side parting, which was a far cry from the edgy quiff she wore to the punk-themes Met Ball earlier this week.
Anne wore a 60s style baby pink Givenchy dress which, again, was in start contrast with the sheer black vintage Valentino gown she wore to the Met Ball. She teamed the dress with a pair of silver strapped heels and accessorised with a silver box clutch.
Anne was accompanied by her actor husband Adam Schulman on the night. Other notable celebrities at the Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner include Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexa Chung.

The Les Misérables star styled her newly coloured hair into a quiff which looked quite striking when coupled with her black dress. Anne attended the punk-themed event wearing a sheer black vintage Valentino dress from 1992. The revealing gown featured feathered sleeves and sequins which protected her modesty.
Anne was certainly pleased with her new look. She told the Mail Online “I’ve wanted to do it forever! I love it!”
Her former Devil Wears Prada co-star was equally taken with the new style and reportedly greeted her with “Oh my God! I love it!”
This year’s Met Ball celebrated the opening of their new exhibition Punk: Chaos to Couture.

- Cheryl Cole Looks Glowing in Yellow
Cheryl Cole looked glowing as she landed in LAX over the weekend; the star was all smiles and didn’t look like she had just stepped off a long flight. Cheryl recently admitted she is enjoying taking a well-earned break from her usually packed schedule.
Flashing her famous smile as she made her way through the airport, the 29-year-old flaunted her tanned pins in a pair of yellow shorts. Cheryl paired her sunny shorts with matching heels and a complementing gun metal grey shirt. The former Girls Aloud star topped off the look with a snakes-skin print handbag and aviators.
Cheryl may have been so smiley because she was visiting her American boyfriend Tre Holloway. The star recently admitted that although she would never leave music for good, she in enjoying some time-off.
‘It’s exciting that I actually don’t have any plans for once, because I got a little way in with the third album and then decided to put it to one side so I could focus on the Girls Aloud tour and that’s just come to an end, so I actually don’t know. Music is my life, music is my passion, my first love, so that will always be part of what I’m doing. But I actually don’t have any plans right now. I’m turning 30 in June, I’ve had an incredible decade in this industry, with the highs and the lows. 30 is a very empowering age for me, I feel the best I’ve ever felt.’
- Cheryl Cole Stuns in Her Latest Look

The two seem to be spending a lot of time together lately as they, along with Nicola Roberts, attended the Pink concert on Sunday. The girls were also together on Monday as Nicola tweeted a picture of them which was retweeted by Cheryl who wrote ‘#truelove’.
Do we wish we were friends with the girls and possibly share clothes? Of course not.
- Jean Byrne Could Design Her Own Fashion Range “Rain was never so much fun” this is the description given on Facebook’s, ‘The Jean Byrne appreciation society page’, which boast a staggering 1,012 members. The RTE weather girl has kept the nation enthralled with her fashion choices over the last number of years, from the infamous sleek silver number to the black slashed dressed but one thing is for certain, Jean has her own particular style and is not afraid to flaunt it. Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail, the meteorologist says she would possibly like to try her hand at designing “I probably would. I’m very happy doing what i’m doing. I use it as a creative outlet – I just love putting things together. I wouldn’t mind doing it because I have very strong ideas about what I like” However Jean got slated over the weekend for daring outfit at the VIP style awards. The friendly meteorologist wore a Claire O Connor number which she teamed with clunky black boats and red lippie. Fashion critics felt there was too much going on but Jean was happy with her individual style. RSVP thinks Jean always looks great and brightens up our dull weather coverage each evening.

- Sassy Vintage: The Power Suit: Your Perfect Office-to-Party Best Friend Give your work-wear an overhaul this summer with the female power suit. This androgynous look is a big trend this season, with cigarette trousers and structured blazers taking over the catwalks and high street alike. The beauty of this look rests in the amount of choice given by investing in separates. The trick to the trend is to pair formal wear with casual staples for a fashion-forward work ensemble, which can be altered for after-hours cocktails. It’s all about bringing a bit of fun, zest and appeal to getting dressed in the morning; so move over standard, unflattering black trousers and white shirt… we’re moving on to something bolder and better. http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=9469498&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=pencil%20skirt&pageSize=200 http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=9123565&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=pencil%20skirt&pageSize=200 The main staple buys you should invest in for this trend are: cigarette-style pants, smart blouse, crisp white shirt, tailored blazer, pencil-skirt, shift dress, marl tee and statement bling. There is a wide selection of bold graphic prints, monochrome stripes and colour block wardrobe essentials available at the minute, so if you’re feeling brave invest in matching separates, or clashing-prints that complement. If you’re opting for loud prints then make sure you pair it with simple accessories for day-time, such as a plain black tee, natural makeup and nude courts. http://www.riverisland.com/women/coats–jackets/biker-jackets/Black-smart-biker-jacket-636397 http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/ie/en/zara-neu-S2013/358005/1207024/STRUCTURED+TROUSERS If you’re feeling nauseous at the thought of zingy colours and want to keep it simple, pair a plain white tee with a monochrome pencil skirt and a pair of black sling-backs. This look can be transformed from day-to-night by styling your hair in a high-rise, structured bun, adding a slick of red lipstick and accessorizing with an eye-catching statement necklace. This summer, work-wear has never looked better, so ditch the old and have an affair with bold prints, block-colours and thick, monochrome stripes. We may not get to have fun in the sun, but at least we’ll bring a bit of summer spirit to our desks. http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/ie/en/zara-neu-S2013/401033/1163049/PRINTED%20SHIRT Check out more work from Amber Leigh Doyle aka Sassy Vintage here: Website: http://amberleighdoyle.com/ Twitter: @amberleighdoyle Facebook: www.facebook.com/AmberLeighDoyleFreelanceJournalist Fashion Editor: http://collegetimes.ie/style/

- Irish Women Reluctant to Budget Beauty Habits During Recession
Budgeting. A word detested by women the world over, especially when it affects their retail and beauty therapy! However, a recent survey conducted by Pembroke Communications on Irish women’s style and beauty habits, revealed that more than half of Irish women are not overly concerned with pesky recession budgeting, and do in fact treat themselves to new clothes every month.
According to the survey, one in four women spend up to €2,000 a year to keep their wardrobe up to date with the latest style trends. And though about three quarters of Ireland’s lovely ladies have had to reel in their spending habits, a large portion still throw caution to the wind in favour of maintaining their beauty habits.
It was discovered that many women will spend between €500 – €700 on beauty and hair appointments each year. And it seems magazines are still a big influencing factor in the fashion and beauty spending trends of Irish women. Pembroke Communications account director, Angie Grant said:
“The research indicates that women are consuming information on beauty and fashion from a wide range of sources. It was interesting to see the fashion magazine still remains relevant and is still a must-read for most Irish women.”
Surprisingly only 13 women surveyed said they thought Irish women were fashionable, with the majority feeling French women are the most stylish in the world.
- Gwyneth Paltrow Leaves Her Underwear At Home As She Wows In Gown
Gwyneth Paltrow’s strict exercise and diet regime are certainly working for the star as she arrived at Marvel’s Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere wearing an Antonio Berardi dress with mesh panels down the sides, showing off her hips and décolletage area, leaving little to the imagination and also making it impossible for her to wear underwear beneath the saucy number.
Gwyneth Paltrow
She was named to World’s Most Beautiful Woman in People magazine on Wednesday and she certainly knows how to flaunt it but why not when you have the derriere of an eighteen year. The dress created the optical illusion of a curvy white silhouette down the middle but when Gwyneth turned the shear sides showed toned flesh, the dress also drew attention to her tiny waist.
The 40-year-old arrived on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles in the daring gown She allowed her skin to glow as usual in natural make-up and wore her blonde locks straight and to one side over her shoulder, looking every inch the Hollywood superstar.
RSVP thinks she looks sensational but do you like the gown?

I hope that you will join me in congratulating The Art Room and their supporters on these extraordinary achievements. The floor-length white dress featured sheer panels on the sides which not only flattered her feminine curves but also give the illusion of a miniscule waist. Kimberley accessorised with gold drop earrings and wore bright pink lipstick with matching nails. She wore her hair in waves to complete the look.
