CAREER

Your path into the industry…

I have a background in Computer Science which is completely on the the other side of the spectrum to fashion but I have always been creative and interested in it so that’s always been at the back of my mind. My sister Teddy and I decided to launch our blog, Teddy & Alex a year and a half ago as a creative outlet for all of our ideas and inspiration.

Your greatest achievement…

The greatest achievement would definetly be getting the Image.ie Best Newcomer Blog award within a few months of starting the blog. We’re really thankful for getting recognised in such a short amount of time.

FASHION

Your style…

I would describe my style to be quite simplistic, minimal and effortless. I love a touch of masculinity and comfort always has to be number one. My wardrobe is mainly composed of black, white, grey and neutral tones.

Your style icons…

I follow a lot of Australian and Scandinavian bloggers which I love to get inspired from but for me it always comes down to the Olsen twins they look so effortless.

Your favourite piece…

My Bvulgari ring which was a gift from my dad. It holds a such a special place in my heart and because he lives away I wear it everyday to keep him close.

BEAUTY

Your skincare routine…

I try to take care of my skin as best as possible by cleansing, toning and moisturizing every day using La Roche-Posay products which I love. On a daily basis I keep my make-up to a minimum using a BB cream and some nude tones for eyeshadow along with a natural lip. I use Revlon Photoready foundation when I have special events, photoshoots or need the extra coverage.

Your favourite products…

Lady Danger by MAC has to be my favorite red lipstick, always have it handy when I need a pop of color. I also love MAC Mineralize skin finish which never fails to give you a summer glow.

LIFE

Your ‘me’ time…

My ’me’ time depends on the mood. It could be grabbing a coffee and taking some time to myself, taking a walk through town, going to the gym or just staying in with a movie and some good food.

Hobbies…

I started playing drums about six years ago so when I get some free time that’s what I love to do. I also love cooking, trying out new recipes and of course eating!

Your favourite restaurant…

My favorite restaurant in Dublin has to be Rustic Stone. In Budapest there’s a wonderful place called New York Cafe which I love, the interior is magical it’s like dining in a royal palace, not to mention how amazing the food is!

Your favourite holiday destination…

My favorite holiday destination has to be Dominican Republic where I travelled to for my honeymoon, I really fell in love with the place and the locals. I would go back any day.

Your stress-busting tip…

Definitely has to be going to the gym, there’s nothing like some heavy weight lifting to make you feel like you can conquer any situation.

Your style…

Very minimal, I absolutely hate clutter so I try to keep my space as clear as possible with very neutral calming colors such as white and grey.
