Samantha Mumba To Take Over From Lucy Kennedy On The Seven O’Clock Show
Samantha Mumba will turn her hand to presenting tomorrow (Thursday 20th Oct) when she takes to The Seven O’Clock Show couch to guest present the TV3 show alongside Martin King.
Samantha will be filling in for Lucy while she is away working on another episode of ‘Living With Lucy’.
Although no stranger to film and TV, this will be the first time the mum of one has tried her hand at hosting a TV show.
Joining Samantha and Martin as guests on the live show tomorrow will be publisher and broadcaster Norah Casey & actor Aidan McArdle.
Looking ahead to her stint on the Seven O’Clock Show, Samantha said: “I’m very excited about co-hosting The Seven O’Clock Show with Martin and really looking forward to trying something new. I’m a massive fan of the show anyway so it will be a pleasure.”
Samantha has been back in Ireland for the last few months and is turning her hands to more TV work. Viewers will get to see her in the New Year when she appears on TV3’s ‘Celebrity Masterchef’.
But speaking to the Seven O’Clock, she said her number 1 priority is her daughter, Sage:
“My main focus is being the best mother I can to my little girl and balancing work with that. She’s inspired me to really push myself. Being in Ireland at the moment has been great with family support and I’m hoping to spend more of next year here as well.”
Tune in to The Seven O’Clock Show tomorrow evening to see Samantha Mumba guest present alongside Martin King.
