Celebrity Special: The Wedding Of Jonathan Sexton And Laura Priestly
Another rugby ace to tie the knot was Leinster and Ireland player Jonathan Sexton, who married his childhood sweetheart Laura Priestly in an intimate ceremony in front of family and friends at the Holy Trinity Abbey Church in Adare, Co Limerick.
Jonathan waited eagerly inside the church with his groomsmen, brothers Mark and Jerry and his cousin Roy, as his bride-to-be arrived, accompanied by her father Maurice. Wowing the crowds that were gathered outside the church in a cream silk creation with a plunging neckline, Laura looked a picture of nervous excitement as she walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Laura’s bridesmaids on the day – Cathy Priestly, Gillian Sexton and Emma Richardson – were the epitome of summer elegance in their turquoise gowns.
Many of Jonathan’s pals were also on hand to help him celebrate his big day with school teacher Laura. Andrew Trimble and his wife Anna were in attendance and were joined by Leo Cullen and his wife Darrine, as well as Brian O’Driscoll, who was minus his beautiful wife Amy Huberman on the day as she had a previous family commitment to attend. However, the style factor was still very much present thanks to a host of other high-profile female guests who turned heads with their stunning ensembles.
Cian Healy’s girlfriend and ‘Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model’ finalist Holly Carpenter looked every inch the supermodel in a black and gold embellished dress complete with killer heels, while actress Susie Amy and model Nadia Forde also upped the style stakes in their eye-catching outfits.
After posing with fans and well wishers outside the church, the happy couple and their family and friends made their way to the stunning Adare Manor where they continued the day’s celebrations.
We at RSVP would like to wish both Jonathan and Laura and Paul and Emily every happiness in their married lives together!
