16 year old left premanently disfigured after vicious assault

A 16 year old girl from Darlaston, Walsall, West Mids, has been left permanently disfigured after a vicious attack which left her unconscious and seriously injured.
Emily O’Reilly, 16, was making her way to her friends house when she was attacked, having her phone and bracelet stolen in the incident.
The attacker reportedly pulled Emily to the ground, stamping on her and punching her until she was knocked unconscious. The attacker, who is believed to be female, only stopped when her accompanying friend said, ““Leave her now, I think she’s dead.”
Emily was left in the gutter unconscious by herself, with horrific injuries.
The 16 year old regained consciousness and ran to a nearby pub for help.
According to The Sun, Emily needed treatment for a fractured nose and cheek and stitches for a wound under her eye.
Emily, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s aged six, has now been left permanently disfigured as a result of the robbery and she is unable to open her right eye.
Speaking to The Sun about the attack her mother said;
“I just burst into tears when I saw her, I could not believe somebody could do that do another person. I want people to see these pictures to see the impact these attacks can have and that violence is just not the answer.”
Adding, “She can’t even open her eye. She keeps crying but I can’t tell because I can’t see her tears through the swelling. She has been left permanently disfigured.”
Speaking about the attack, Emily says she’s afraid to go out now, and says that when she was running to the pub for help she seen her attacker returning with more people looking for her.
We can;t imagine the horrible trauma this attack has had on the poor girl. We hope she gets the justice she deserves.
