Harvey’s Point Country Hotel- Lough Eske Donegal. – Harvey’s point is a five star hotel beautifully located on the shores of Lough Eske. It has always been a pet friendly place. The original owner Jody Gysling was always seen with a couple of black labs running alongside him. This friendly hotel, now run by Jody’s brother still welcomes guests with pets. All of the rooms and suites are extremely luxurious and those on the ground floor, with easy access to the grounds are especially popular with dog owners.


Carbery Cottage Guest Lodge- Located in Bantry, West Cork, Carbery Cottage is a purpose-built B&B with an adjoining self-catering cottage that welcomes four-legged friends with open arms. Owned by Mike Hegarty and Julia Bird. Mike is a qualified dog handler and offers weekend training sessions in winter.


Castlemartyr Resort- Located in Cork, The Castlemartyr Resort consists of a 17th century manor house. The pet policy is that any dog, regardless of size, weight or breed is welcome as long as they are cute, adorable and well-behaved! There are terrific walking trails near the hotel for you and your dog as well as some beautiful sandy beaches.


Lough Eske Castle- Lough Eske is located in Donegal Town and is definitely one of the more extravagant pet hotels, its pet services include: welcome bed basket and blanket, food and water tray. Special pet menus. Dog grooming, Dog walking service, and a Pet health check. Ideal for the pet lover.


Gregans Castle Hotel- Found in the Burren, County Clare. The Burren is a walker’s paradise and is the perfect spot to bring your pooch. It has been crowned ‘Pet Friendly Hotel Of The Year 2015’ and why wouldn’t it, they have a special designated ‘doggy’ room that has its own sheltered outdoor area, an outdoor kennel and an indoor play pen/bed for times when the weather is disappointing.
