#Breaking Traffic Chaos as Vehicle Bursts into Flames on M50

There have been reports of traffic chaos after a vehicle caught fire on the M50 this evening.

The vehicle blaze happened the M50 northbound and is affecting visibility in the area as well as blocking left lane traffic.

AA Roadwatch posted online: “There are reports of a vehicle on fire on the M50 northbound between the M11 junction and J16 Cherrywood.

“Take extra care as smoke may reduce your visibility. Further along there are delays from J12 Firhouse to J9 Red Cow and again from J5 Finglas to J4 Ballymun.”

Motorists have also been advised to take care on another busy commuter route as lorry has shed its load on the off-ramp from the N3 Navan Rd outbound at J4 Clonee.

Gardai are also dealing with a collision on the Kennelsfort Road Upper in Palmerstown. Traffic is slow northbound approaching the Chapelizod Bypass, according to Dublin Live.
