From the dress to the venue, everything we know about Pippa Middleton’s wedding
From the dress to the venue, everything we know about Pippa Middleton’s wedding.
There’s been many a rumour about the Duchess of Cambridge’s sisters’ big day. From a “no ring, no bring” policy, to what dress she’ll be wearing, here’s everything to expect from her big day.
When and where?
Pippa and James are set to marry on Saturday, May 20th. The pair will be marrying in their local church, St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire.
Around 150 guests are expected to attend, however, according to reports, this may end up being a lot more, as locals may be allowed to attend. If that’s the case we can see a lot of people attending to get a peek at the dress.
The reception will be in her parents back garden, a bit of a difference from her sisters which was at Buckingham palace. However, Pippa is said to be very traditional and wanted to have a more low key day.
She’s a traditional girl and just wanted to get married at home.
“Her mum has been very involved in all the wedding planning and she wants to show off their house to all their friends.”
Who will attend?
Pippa’s nephew Prince George and niece Charlotte will be there as a page boy and flower girl.
Her big sister Kate will also attend with husband William, however, she it is unsure whether or not she will be maid of honour, as she may not want to steal the show on her sisters big day.
Other guests include Prince Harry, Ben Fogle and Roger Federer.
Spencer Matthers, James’ younger brother is expected to be the best man.
Ah, one of the main things we’re interested is her dress. We can’t wait to see what type of dress she goes with.
According to recent reports, the bride will wear a “simple” Giles Deacon dress for her big day. “Very simple, elegant and it’s all handmade,” says E! News.
The source added to say: “very few people have seen the finished thing.”
We’re sure she’s going to look just fab!
It seems that Pippa is fairly sure about what she wants from her wedding day, and isn’t afraid to enforce certain rules.
The wedding guests are reportedly expected to bring a change of clothes for the reception. While it’s traditional for the bride to slip into something more comfortable after the ceremony, we’ve never heard of guests being asked to change outfits too.
“No ring, No Bring”. Apparently if you’re not married or engaged, then you won’t be getting a plus one for the wedding. This speculation has meant that James Matthew’s brother, will not be able to bring Irish model girlfriend, Vogue Williams.
However, according to reports, Vogue has said she already had prior engagements that day, and wishes the couple the best.
So that’s all we know about the wedding so far. We can’t wait to see her dress, and goggle at the amazing style.
