Francis Brennan Hopes To Find Luck And Love At This Year’s Lisdoonvarna Festival
The ever lovable Francis Brennan is heading to the annual Lisdoonvarna festival this year, and his hopes are high.
Although he has previously admitted that he’s very happy and content being single, the famous hotelier told The Irish Daily Mirror that he might be lucky in finding a companion this year.
Speaking to the publication, the 62-year-old explained: “I’m probably happier that half of Ireland so I’m very lucky in that respect. You do dedicate yourself to the business in some degree – like a priest with the vocation – which is what I did, and I don’t regret it one bit”.
”I’m as happy as Larry. I’m in Lisdoonvarna in September so I might be lucky this year.”
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show previously, Francis admitted that he may have Asexual tendencies because he has never been attracted or lusted after another person, and have never been interested in sex.
“I’ve never lusted after anyone. I suppose I’m what you would call asexual. I’m always too tired anyway. So forget that. (Sex) doesn’t interest me at all”.
“Well, everyone is always probing this point. When you’re 61 and unmarried there are assumptions made. People think I’m gay but, just so you know, I’m not. I would have had (men) coming on, not in my youth, but as an adult. Nothing too heavy. A wink and a nod.”
You never know, Francis could find love at this years festival, or at the very least, a great friend.
Will you be heading there to see him?
