Gardai investigating pipe bomb attack Drogheda County Louth

Gardai are investigating a pipe bomb attack on a pub in Drogheda, County Louth.

The alleged pipe bomb attack took place on a pub on Wednesday night.

No one was injured, according to The Mirror, however, the front door of the premises and two cars parked outside were damaged in the incident.

“Gardai in Drogheda are investigating an alleged incident involving a pipe bomb.” said a Garda spokesman.

“A small explosion on a premises on New Found Well road was reported at 3am this morning.

“There no injuries and minor damage was caused.”

“investigations are ongoing and gardai in Drogheda are appealing for information.”
