Helen Flanagan reveals that she’d love to stay at Corrie for longer
Helen Flanagan reveals that she’d love to stay at Corrie a little while longer after returning to the show from a 6 year hiatus.
Helen Flanagan, who plays the role of Rosie Webster on Coronation Street, will make her return to the soap on February 6th.
Speaking to the press, she said;
“I’m back for quite a while and then we’re just going to see how things go. I would love to stay for a little bit longer because I am really really enjoying it, so yeah, we’ll just see.”
The Corrie star has joined for only a few months, however, it seems she’s very excited for her return.
Speaking about her characters future in the show Flanagan said she hopes to see her character romantically involved with someone in the soap.
“I was looking back at scenes of when Rosie was with Jason and I actually think that worked quite well because they were such a good match so yeah it’ll be interesting to see who actually Rosie does end up with eventually,” she said.
Adding, “I like having her in a relationship because you can really play off someone. I really enjoy that.”
Flanagan started out in Corrie in 2000, playing the role of Rosie for 12 years before announcing her hiatus.
The soap star who is now aged 26, started out in the show as a child.
