The Irish football community is in mourning following the death of James Moore in Belfast.
It is believed that he passed away last night.
The Beechmount community has been left devastated following the shock death over the weekend.
The Willowbank player, aged in his 20’s, reportedly died at his home just after 10pm.
A spokesperson for Beechmount Residents Collective told Belfast Live, James “was a great role model for kids at Willowbank YC/ FC and a great team captain”.
“He was a great neighbour who will be sadly missed by all who knew him,” they added.
“James was a lovely fella who had time for everyone and a smile for all.”
