Lexus Irish Fashion Collective
A celebration of Irish Fashion Design Lexus Irish Fashion Collective Trinity College, Friday 29th April 2016
As Ireland celebrates a historic centenary, the fashion industry celebrated its rich heritage of excellent design with the Lexus Irish Fashion Collective.
Guests who attended the Lexus Irish Fashion Collective show included Philip Treacy and Stefan Bartlett, Ali Hewson, Mary Coughlan (singer), Lorraine Keane, Marie Chalke, Frances McDonagh (former head of Design at NCAD where many of the designers studied), Lorna Weightman and her sister Mary Anne, Carmel Breheny (Marks & Spencers) and Mary Greene (Divine Boutique).
The collective include designers Mariad Whisker, Umit Kutluk, Helen Steele, Aideen Bodkin, Mary Donoghue for Ireland’s Eye Knitwear and Roisin Linnane featuring Melissa Curry Jewellery. Each designer showcased their seasonal collections with the support of Lexus to raise funds towards the vision of creating Ireland’s first Dementia village at Saint Joseph’s Shankill.
