Louise Redknapp is living apart from husband Jamie Rednapp after months of intense speculation.

They pair reportedly ended their relationship this summer.

The Strictly Come Dancing star admits she felt like “Stepford wife” and she had to change things.

Louise and Jamie won’t be divorcing though and they still remain close for the sake of their children.

In a candid new interview with Stella magazine, she said: “It’s so hard because I love him. He’s an amazing man and we’ve had 20 good years together.

“I know he’s trying to understand that I do need to do this. People might look at me and think I’ve got everything, but a sweeping staircase and designer handbag doesn’t really do it for me…

“I have no idea what is going to happen, all I know is that I fought for this, it’s taken everything, but this is something I need to do – for me.”

Her time on the BBC One dance show catapulted her back into the spotlight and she was keen to stay working.

Now, she is starring in the musical Cabaret alongside Will Young.
