This Picture Of Ireland Has Gone Viral For The Most Special Reason

No, those lights aren’t what you think they are….

If Ireland is known for anything, it’s definitely our culture.

Whether that’s in the form of our alcohol tendencies, our language or our lakes – visitors come from far and wide each and every year to sample what our beautiful little Emerald Isle has to offer.

But there’s one thing that’s engraved in each and everyone’s heritage here, and that’s the GAA.

This rather incredible picture of Ireland is going viral across the world tonight because of what the little lights represent.

No – it’s not people in their offices working late at night, it’s not bonfires being lit up, and (unfortunetly)it’s not Coldplay playing in every corner of the country.

Those little shining lights signify the GAA football clubs all across the country.

Now, that’s what we call culture!

It was a nice post until it was clear you weren’t actually appreciating it, but only using it to have a bitter pop at other types of culture on the island.
