A picture of Prince George has caused outrage on the internet.
A “highly inappropriate” article has also been circulating as a result of the cute snap.
The article suggested that the future king had become “gay icon overnight” sparking huge controversy.
PinkNews used the headline “People think Prince George looks fabulous in this new photo” before calling him a “gay icon” in the write-up.
Jim Allister, of the Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) has called for an apology after the story sexualised the youngster.
“Sexualising a young child in this fashion is entirely inappropriate”.
“To take an image of a little boy and to fantasise of him being an icon for a life defined by sex is outrageous and sick,” he told the Daily Mirror.
