Prince Harry admits he regrets not talking about mother Diana’s death
Prince Harry has emotionally revealed that he regrets not talking about his mother Princess Diana’s death.
The 31 year old opened up about his mother as he hosted a BBQ at Kensington Palace in support of the mental health charity Heads Together at the weekend.
Speaking about her death when he was just 12 years old, he admitted it had hugely affected him, but that he hid it, ‘for the first 28 years of my life’.
“I really regret not ever talking about it”
He went on:
“It’s ok to suffer, as long as you talk about it, It’s not a weakness. Weakness is having a problem and not recognising it and not solving that problem.”
Harry along with William and Kate founded Heads Together, which aims to end the stigma surrounding mental health.
