Prince Harry’s Words about Princess Diana Will Break Your Heart
Prince Harry has admitted all he wants to do is make Princess Diana proud as he celebrates the ten-year anniversary of his charity founded in her name.
The 31-year-old suggested that his childhood memories of Diana are fading and he can’t remember much of their time together.
Speaking to People, Harry said: “I don’t have that many memories of my childhood with my Mum.”
Harry admitted that he is “sure” Diana inspires the work that he is now doing, “whether he knows it or not”, revealing that he often thinks to himself: “All I want to do is make my mother proud.”
He added: “That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. When she died, there was a gaping hole, not just for us but also for a huge amount of people across the world.
“If I can try to fill a very small part of that, then job done.”
Harry was just 12 years old when Lady Diana Spencer was killed in a car crash in Paris in August 1997.
