THE DATE

The 16th of December 2016

THE LOCATION

Church of the Immaculate Conception, Carraig na bhFear, Co Cork

THE DRESS

The dress was a Mori Lee design and it came from The Bridal Outlet , Dublin. It was a strapless, fit and flare dress with a sweetheart neckline. I loved the lace detail and what really made this dress standout for me was the lace illusion on the back.

HAIR & MAKE UP

Hair: Dominika, Hair Passion

Makeup: Linda Collins Makeup Artist

THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Dominic Dunne. Dominic was fantastic on the day. As well as doing a fantastic job capturing all the special moments, Dominic was just great to have around on the morning of the wedding. He helped tie ties, pin button holes, fix my veil, showed us how to hold our bouquets - he was such a help! And the photos speak for themselves. He is so talented.

THE VENUE

The Radisson Blu, Little Island, Cork . The drinks reception was in Ditchley House, which is lovely. The Christmas decorations were up in the hotel and they were amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Ciara, was great in the lead up to the wedding and on the day Przemyslaw (also known as Seamus!) was excellent at looking after the entire bridal party.

FUNNIEST MOMENT

The bridal car was a vintage car from Christy Buckley of Wedding Vintage Car Hire . I arrived in a white vintage car but when we came out of the church the car was a wine colour! It turns out that the white car actually broke down just after we arrived at the church and poor Christy had to get another one of his cars down to the church before the ceremony was over. That’s the risk with vintages cars I suppose, but we were none the wiser inside in the church. Some brides have a dress change but we had a car change!

THE HONEYMOON

We went to Thailand on honeymoon. We spent Christmas Day on the beach in Phuket and we celebrated New Years in Bangkok.
