Search under way for diver off coast of Donegal
A major search is under way off the coast of Donegal for a missing diver this evening.
The Coast Guard Rescue 118 helicopter based in Strandhill, Sligo, and the Lough Swilly RNLI lifeboat are involved in the operation about 27km north of Fanad, reports RTE News.
A number of local boats are also understood to be involved in the search.
The diver is believed to be one of a number who were diving in wrecks in the area and was reported missing to Malin Head Coast Guard this afternoon.
