It’s your basic wedding nightmare, turning up in a dress too similar to the bridal party, or even another guest.
So, imagine these women’s horror when they realised their gorgeous new dress was also being worn by five other women.
That’s exactly what happened at this wedding in Australia this month.
Six women in six identical dresses and no they weren’t bridesmaids.
The hilarious dilemma was shared by one of the wedding guests, Debbie Sperenza.
It quickly went viral, leading to Debbie to post on Forever New – where the dress was purchased asking for a gift voucher for all the advertising.
She wrote:
"You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can enquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event, No we are NOT the bridesmaids just the guests - think I deserve a gift voucher for all this advertisement."
Speaking about the moment they realised they were all in the same dress, Debbie told the Daily Telegraph:
“I’ve heard of two women, maybe three, wearing the same dress, but six? You couldn’t make it up. At first there were a few dirty looks among the girls in the same dress who didn’t quite know whether to laugh it off or go home and get changed. In the end we all cracked up about it. It’s every girl’s worst nightmare, what else can you do?”
