Teenage girl falls to her death from multi-storey car park
Police have launched an investigation after a 19-year-old girl fell to her death from a multi-storey car park today.
Officers were called to Bull Lane, Gloucester, in the early hours of this morning where the woman, who has not yet been named, was found dead.
According to The Sun, Police have said that her death was “being treated as unexplained but not suspicious”.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: “You may have seen we closed off an area around Longsmith Street car park in Gloucester early this morning.
“Sadly this was following the death of a 19-year-old Gloucester woman who fell from one of the upper floors of the car park in the early hours of today.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and her next of kin and family have been informed.
“We will now be continuing enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
It comes after a man plunged to his death after falling from a multi-storey car park in Birmingham yesterday.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Brindleyplace at around 4.40pm and despite the efforts or paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
