Two men have died in Separate farm accidents today
Two men have died this morning in separate farm accidents. The accidents happened in Offaly and in Wexford.
According to The Irish Independent, The Health and Safety Authority confirmed that a man in his 20’s died on a farm at Moneyribbin, Co. Wexford, after a quad bike overturned when he was working on his father’s farm.
They also confirmed that a farmer in his 70’s died in a separate accident on a farm outside Birr, Co Offaly in a farming accident. It is understood that he was struck by a tractor.
A farmer in Roscommon died this weekend when he sustained head injuries in another farming accident. While earlier in the year an elderly man died in Co Wexford when working with farm machinery. This brings the number of farm deaths this year to four.
