An Garda Síochána appeal for information on Trevor Deely, missing nearly 17 years
Deputy inspector Costello in a video has officially appealed to the public for information in relation to the disappearance of Trevor Deely.
Trevor was last seen in the Baggot Street Bridge area in Dublin, walking home from a Christmas party in December 2000.
Earlier this year a team of six detectives in Pearse Street Garda Station began conducting a complete review of his disappearance.
Gardaí are now looking to identify a man who was seen outside Trevor’s workplace on the night he disappeared nearly seventeen years later.
Gardaí have also revealed that they are searching a site in Chapelizod in south Dublin related to the disappearance. This area has been sealed off.

Deputy inspector Costello said that this area will not be accessible to the public for the coming days, as the Gardaí search for evidence.
We hope that this search brings to light what happened to Trevor almost seventeen years ago and can bring his family some peace.
